Hotel Manin: a perfect place to your stay

If you are planning a visit to Milan and you do not know where to stay, we have a great suggestion for you if you are looking for a hotel. For those who love both classic and fashionable locations, Hotel Manin is the perfect place to spend a wonderful stay in Milan. Located in the famous quadrilatero della moda, where the shops of the most famous fashion maisons are present, it also enjoys the classicism of the property, used as a hotel in the distant 1904. In 1943, during the Second World War, the hotel was completely destroyed to be rebuilt in 1948. The hotel is in any case constantly evolving, in fact since ’48 onwards there have been numerous interventions aimed at improving it. In total there are 124 luxury rooms, and you want to know a beautiful curiosity? All overlook the green! Something unusual for those who live…

Wanna a perfect ride?

Days of Fashion Week are a total delirium, traffic jam, taxi that does not arrive, the subway that is far away, the high heel that does not help us to run. Whoever lives or is always in big cities, as well as airports, knows how difficult it is to get a taxi without waiting too long, specially if we are late for some meeting, it will take even longer. For the first time I did not have these problems during a Fashion Week, in Paris I always had Blacklane with me. Blacklane is a global group that offers private transport services since 2012. I arrived in Paris and my driver was already waiting for me at the airport, during my days in Paris it rained almost always, which made my life easier was to always have Blacklane services available from one show to another, and even a free afternoon I…

Paris Fashion Week: Hotel Sacha by HappyCulture

The second part of my stay in Paris took place in Hotel Sacha – HappyCulture. A real gem in the heart of Paris, a few steps from the Church of the Sacred Heart, and the famous Moulin Rouge, 15 minutes walk from the famous Galeries Lafayette and just few minutes from the St. George subway station. Entering the hotel you immediately feel the sensation of being in a theater, decorated in elegant red and golden tones. This hotel looks more like a work of art and is the result of work by the architect Julie Gauthron who made each room to make customers feel in a full French atmosphere. The rooms are decorated in contemporary style and overlook those Parisian buildings style that I could admire for hours. With the frenetic pace of fashion week going on, I ordered breakfast in the room every day, which helped me a lot to save time, so I could make…

Paris Fashion Week : Best Western Hotel Ohm

This year was my first time at Paris Fashion Week, were four days rich in events, fashion shows and photos. In the first part of my trip I had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Hotel Ohm of the hotel network HappyCulture. Great location, just 5 minutes walk from the metro Porte de Saint-Cloud, where I could arrive with a few stops to the Trocadéro, a strategic point where you can admire the incredible beauty of the Eiffel Tower, I’ve seen it several times, but each time gives you new emotions. Hotel Ohm is located in the 16th arrondissement and is an ideal choice for shopping and food, next door there is a very good Italian restaurant, great choice for those who can not give up a good pizza or to a good pasta. My stay was really delicious, the hotel has a very refined and comfortable setting. My room was very spacious (fortunately, since during the…

Pantelleria

This summer I explored a bit more of Italy, and I got to know better this country so rich in culture and beauty, full of surreal places. I left Milan, arriving in Rome and from there I went to the small and magical island of Pantelleria, one of the most exclusive holiday places of the Mediterranean. Pantelleria is a “black mark” in the sea between Sicily and Tunisia, also known as the “black pearl of the Mediterranean”. It is an island of volcanic origin, and is therefore characterized by rocky coves that make it more feature and offer wonderful volcanic landscapes. These features make the island a little bit hard to visit, but maybe even more fascinating, reasons that perhaps push the famous fashion designer Giorgio Armani, to elect Pantelleria as his place of summer residence. The local population, in contrast to what one might think, is not made up…

LBW Yacht Life Experience

When we received the invitation from LBW Travel, to spend a week aboard on the Yacht Life, we never could have imagined what was waiting for us. The itinerary were Greece and Turkey, we were supposed to start the trip in Bodrum , Turkey, but because of the political problems of the country, we decided to begin our adventure in Kos, Greece. We got in the yacht the second day, when almost everyone was already on board, at first I thought I was not going to socialize with all those people, because until then, they were all foreigners just like me, as well as being unknown. And I just thought to the fact that my sister (Juliane) would leave the boat in two days, since she had another trip in progress, then what would I do there alone? Wait for it! IT- Quando abbiamo ricevuto l’invito da LBW Travel, per…

Quintana di Ascoli Piceno

As we mentioned previously in our “Sighseeing Ascoli Piceno”, in addition to knowing and tourist-ing the city of Ascoli, we were lucky to visit the city during the famous Quintana di Ascoli Piceno or as it is also known “Giostra della Quintana “. The medieval event, takes place on the second Saturday of July and the first Sunday of August. Before entering the field (in which the competition between the six riders), more than 1,400 people parade along the main streets of the historic center of the medieval city, wearing traditional costumes representing the figures of the Middle Ages. After the parade through the city, all the figures of the “Corteo” reach the Squacia stadium, which hosts the “Giostra della Quintana”, where six knights, each representing their Sestiere, which are: Porta Romana, Piazzarola, Sant ‘Emidio, Porta Tufilla Porta, Porta Maggiore and Porta Solestà (who won the competition with the rider…
